AGRONOMY DAY AT UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

(CHAMPAIGN) Agronmy Days at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will continue this week with the Yield of Dreams Crop Physiology Field Day, coming up this Thursday, August 7th, at the Crop Sciences Research & Education Center in Savoy. Topics will include soybean production, planting site selection based on planting date, multi-year fertility & short corn, biologicals in agriculture, tips of strip-tilling, using sulfur in crop production, and more. It’s registration & breakfast at 8:00am, lunch at 12:30, a panel discussion at 1:00, and soybean breeding plot tour at 1:30. More agronomy events will be held this month and in September.
