(OLNEY) The Annual White Squirrel Triathlon and Kids Triathlon are this coming weekend at Musgrove Park in Olney, presented by the Richland County Recreation Council in Olney. The White Squirrel Kids Triathlon, scheduled to start at the Musgrove Aquatic Center at 6:00 this Friday evening, has three different divisions and distances for those ages 3 to 15. Then the White Squirrel Traithlon, set to start the following morning, on Saturday, at 7:30, also at the MAC, is for participants ages 10 and older, and will include a 200 meter swim in the outdoor Musgrove Aquatic Center, a 14.6 mile bike ride, and a 5K run/walk. While the event is beginner-friendly & open to individuals, there are also categories for two-to-three person teams, plus organization or business teams as well.
