(OLNEY) The Olney City Council met yesterday afternoon in a special joint meeting with the Richland County Board to discuss the countywide radio project. The Council took action by agreeing to spend $100,000 to purchase needed radio equipment as related to the project for the Olney Police Department and the Olney Fire Department. The next regular meeting for the Olney City Council will be Monday, August 25th, at the Olney City Hall.
