REGIONAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

(OLNEY/NEWTON) We’ll have a couple more days and nights of the high heat and humidity throughout our downstate area before some relief is expected to move in. While all of the state’s rain today through tonight will stay to our north, a stalled cold front draped over central Illinois, will eventually start moving again by tomorrow night, giving us a chance of rain and possible thunderstorms through early Wednesday morning. Then it’s dry again with less humidity in the forecast for the rest of the work week with yet another cold front expected to drop out of Canada with cooler air for the first of next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather forecast details.
