(ST. LOUIS) A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck central Illinois at 1:27 early on this Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The epicenter of the earthquake was located around 2.5 miles east of Ohlman, Illinois, which is southeast of Pana. The earthquake had a depth of around 5.5 miles and the USGS says that over 1,100 people have reported feeling the tremor from Effingham to Springfield and from Decatur to St. Louis. Authorities say there have been no damage or injury reports so far as a result of the earthquake this morning.
