APRIL 1, 2025 RICHLAND COUNTY CONSOLIDATED ELECTION UPDATE

(OLNEY) It’s now pretty much official, that City of Olney Mayor Mark Lambird has been re-elected for another term. While Mayor Lambird had a 238 vote lead over challenger Morgan Fehrenbacher as of Tuesday night, it’s been determined that of the 357 vote-by-mail ballots not counted as of yet, only 185 of them are from the Olney City limits. Therefore, Lambird retains the position of Mayor within Olney. As far as the Olney City Council race, officials say the two candidates elected are Matthew Miller and Bryce Fehrenbacher. However, the race of the Richland County School Board of Education is still too close to call at this time due to those outstanding vote-by-mail ballots, which are due in by April 15th.
