BOYS HIGH SCHOOL GOLF RESULTS
(NEWTON) In boys high school golf from this past Monday, the Newton Eagles emerged victorious in a four-team match at the Casey Country Club in Clark County. The Eagles outshot the host Warriors, 160 to 173, while Altamont finished third with a score of 193. North Clay had no team score as they had only two golfers.
Individual Highlights:
- Michael Kennedy shot a personal best of 34, earning the title of Match Medalist.
- Evan Johnson also achieved a personal best, finishing in 2nd place with a score of 40.
- Gunner James posted a 43, and Grant Fulton shot a 44.
GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL GOLF RESULTS
(NEWTON) In girls high school golf on the same day, Altamont won a four-team match at Casey. Newton, North Clay, and Casey-Westfield each had no team scores due to only two golfers participating.
Individual Highlights:
- Peyton Lindley finished 2nd among ten golfers with a personal best score of 45.
- Haley Ochs followed closely in 3rd place, shooting a 46.
- North Clay’s Kennedy Jones was the Match Medalist with a low round of 44.
