(CHARLESTON) In Boys High School Track & Field over the weekend –
All three State Meets finished up at EIU’s O’Brien Stadium in Charleston.
CLASS 2A FINALS
Olney had three young men finish in five separate events
- Gavyn Cothern / 1st / long jump
- Gavyn Cothern / 4th / high jump
- Ian Winkler / 9th / triple jump
- Casey Thomann / 11th / shot put
- Casey Thomann / 15th / discus
The Tigers had two others that competed in one other event in the preliminaries
CLASS 1A FINALS
Newton had two young men in two events
- Parker Wolf / 1st / 400 meter dash
- Wade Wickham / 12th / pole vault
The Eagles had four others that competed in four other events in the preliminaries, congratulations to all.
