(OLNEY) Plans are underway for the annual Olney Christmas Parade, which is scheduled for Saturday night, November 30th, at 6:30. While there is no fee for the parade, entries are being accepted until next Thursday, November 21st. Entry forms can be obtained by emailing at johnmclaughlin711@gmail.com. The top cash prizes will be awarded to the Mayor’s and Queen’s Awards, plus first and second place cash prizes for the Most Inspirational, Best Use of Lights, Best Business, Best Musical, and Children’s Choice. With judging from 5:00 to 5:30 that evening, the parade will line up at the Immanuel United Methodist Church, at 700 North East Street, and starting at 6:30, the parade will follow the usual yearly route, moving from the church south of East Street, then west on Main Street, ending at Whittle Avenue. Again, with less than a week to enter, get those forms now and submit as soon as possible.
