(OLNEY/NEWTON) Time is running out to submit applications to the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation for the Central Illinois Rural Teacher Corps Fund – New Teacher Grants to support first and second year teachers serving K–12 schools in the counties of Richland, Jasper, Lawrence, Crawford, Clark, Cumberland, Effingham, Clay, Fayette, Shelby, and Coles. Up to five grants of $200 each will be awarded, but the deadline to submit a grant application is at just before midnight tonight, on this September 16th. Applications are available on and must be submitted to the southeasternillinois.org/grants website.
