(OLNEY) The City of Olney has announced that its Water Department will be switching the disinfectant in the City’s water distribution system from free chlorine back to chloramine, the normal year-round disinfectant, next Monday, October 13th. Residents may notice a change in the taste of the water until all the free chlorine is washed out of the distribution system. The City of Olney appreciates the patience of all water customers at this time.
