(SPRINGFIELD) IDOT, the Illinois State Police, and local law enforcement agencies all around the state are still out in extra force for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” safety campaign, which includes saturation patrols, roadside safety checks, and more all running through tonight and tomorrow. The authorities are looking for those driving impaired by either alcohol or drugs, plus those who are speeding, not buckled up, those driving while texting or talking on their mobile devices, and those not observing the rules of the road.
