(EFFINGHAM) An Effingham County man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material. 27 year old Dallas Ray Campbell of Effingham was arrested in October 2023 after the Effingham Police Department searched his home and found evidence of child sexual abuse material. Campbell pled guilty to one Class X felony count of dissemination of child pornography and three Class 2 felony counts of possession of child pornography. The Effingham County State’s Attorney’s office was assisted in the case by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office out of Springfield.
