(VANDALIA) A regional 14 year old boy was fatally wounded after a shooting occurred this past Saturday in Fayette County. The Illinois State Police reports that while the suspect in the shooting fled the scene, they were later apprehended by authorities. Both names of the victim and suspect are not being released at this time. An autopsy will be conducted today in Springfield. The State Police are being assisted by authorities in Fayette County.
