FOOD TO HELP THOSE IN NEED NOW NEEDED

(OLNEY) The 37th Annual Richland County Firefighter Food Drive is coming up a week from this Thursday, on December 4th, when the firefighters and volunteers will conduct the annual door-to-door pick up in the communities of Claremont, Calhoun, Parkersburg, Noble, Dundas, and Olney, all beginning at 6:00. Those who would like to help out by donating non-perishable foods should place their items in sacks or bags and leave them on their front porches or steps with their front porch lights turned on before 6:00. All the food collected will be donated to the Good Samaritan of Richland County to be distributed to those in need this holiday season. Food items can also be dropped off from now until December 4th at several locations, including Carle RMH in Olney at the East Entrance from 8:00 to 4:00 weekdays, at the TNT Stop in Claremont, at Noble Foods, the Wakefield Mill, at Market Street Medical in Olney, and at the Olney Fire Station along North Walnut Street. All are urged to help out during this year’s annual event.
