(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a chance of lingering showers or thunderstorms ending this morning, the cold front will move through as the wind direction changes from the west. With only one severe storm warning in our downstate area coming early this morning for Wayne County, most of the region avoided the heavy rains as they either stayed north or south. But we’ll dry out this afternoon with some sunshine, then a pleasant weekend both tomorrow and Sunday, continuing into the first of next week as well.
