Olney Lady Tigers Win Home Opener
The Olney Lady Tigers won two out of three games in their home opener at Ron Herrin Gym on Monday night.
- Varsity Game: Olney defeated Pana, 54-24.
- Leading the Lady Tigers were Kelysse Weiler with 13 points and Aliyah Flittner with 8 points.
- Junior Varsity Game: Olney secured a 41-37 victory.
- Freshman/Sophomore Game: Pana came out on top with a 36-31 win.
The varsity Lady Tigers (2-0) will be back in action this evening at the Paris Tournament.
- Matchup: Olney will face Terre Haute South at 5:15 PM at Paris High School.

Newton Lady Eagles Open Season with Road Victory
The Newton Lady Eagles kicked off their season with a commanding road win against Fairfield on Monday night.
- Varsity Game: Newton defeated Fairfield, 52-18.
- Camryn Martin led the way with 17 points, while Karasyn Martin added 16 points.
- Junior Varsity Game: Fairfield narrowly defeated Newton, 23-22.
The Lady Eagles will host Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg tomorrow night in their home opener at the NCHS Gym.
