(NEWTON) In girls high school tennis yesterday, the Newton Lady Eagles secured a solid victory over Fairfield, winning 7-2. The team excelled in singles matches, winning five out of six:
- Match #1: Paige Klingler
- Match #2: Jailyn Hall
- Match #3: Olivia Sornberger
- Match #4: Chloe Kroenlein
- Match #6: Emma Walker
Newton also performed well in doubles, winning two out of three matches:
- Match #1: Paige Klingler & Jailyn Hall
- Match #3: Olivia Sornberger & Izzy Probst
The Lady Eagles are scheduled to compete in the Doubles Tournament at Paris on Saturday.
