(OLNEY) Get ready for a busy Halloween Night coming up next weekend in downtown Olney. On Friday, October 31st, it all begins with the TrustBank Halloween Parade at 6:00, leaving the TrustBank downtown parking lot, moving west on Main Street, then south on Whittle Avenue, and ending at Bower Park. Then the Fifth Friday Market will open at the end of the parade, starting at around 6:30 in downtown Olney. The two hour event will have various vendor booths, several Trunk-or-Treat booths, plenty of Hovey’s chili, along with hot cocoa & apple cidar, and more. Plus visit all the downtown shops and stores with many specials. Also the Bands from Richland County High School will have their fifth annual Fright Night at Bower Park follow the parade with show times at 6:45 and again at 7:10 with plenty of candy handed out as well. Then the Witches Walk for ladies age 21 and older will start promptly at 8:00 at Ivy’s Cottage, but for only those that have signed up in advance with the Chamber Office. That’s all coming up a week from this Friday night, on Halloween Night, in downtown Olney, sponsored by the Olney Chamber of Commerce and Friends of Olney.
