Newton won their season and home opener
- The Lady Eagles beat Flora with a walk-off hit in the 7th inning, 4-3
- Although Newton was outhit by the visiting Wolfgals, 6 to 5
- Newton’s top hitters were Camryn Martin and Bailee Frichtl
- The winning pitcher was Amelia Collins, striking out 9 in 7 innings
The 1-0 Lady Eagles are on the road to Vandalia tomorrow.

- The Lady Tigers shutout Cisne, 16-0 outhitting the Lady Lions, 8 to 3
- Olney’s top hitters were Allison Reed, Kaiya Seessengood, & Ashtin McCormick
- winning pitcher was Taylor Bloomer, striking out 8 in 4 innings of work
The 1-0 Lady Tigers return to action next week
