Newton won two games at home
- The Eagles beat Lawrenceville in a rescheduled LIC game, 4-2 in 8 innings
 
Newton outhit the visiting Indians, 6 to 5
- The Eagles then beat Neoga, 11-0 in 6 innings
 
Newton outhit the other visiting Indian squad, 13 to 3
- The Eagles’ winning pitchers were Gus Bierman and Carson Barthelme
 - Newton’s top hitters on the day – Isaac Flowers doubled twice with 2 singles and 3 RBI
 - Gus Bierman had a double, 2 singles, and 4 RBI
 - Drake Wolf, Reed Tharp, and David Ferguson each had 2 hits
 
The (14-12/4-2) Eagles are scheduled to host South Central tomorrow
