(OLNEY/NEWTON) The IECC Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting in March this past Tuesday night. The Board : approved all bills as presented : approved the new edition of the IECC District Fact Book as presented : approved revisions of various district policies : approved affiliation agreements with Clay County Hospital and Medical Clinics, Wabash General Hospital, Fairfield Memorial Hospital, Health Pro Heritage LLC, Joyner Therapy Services, and R&T Physical Therapy LLC : approved a lease agreement with Wabash Telephone Cooperative for the Lincoln Trail College campus : approved a three year proposal from Martin Hood PLLC for district audit services : approved two bids as presented – $1,472,990 for a solar array project at Olney Central College and $104, 400 for the 2024 TRIO Upward Bound Education Trip : and recognized the past year’s service of Lincoln Trail College student Guadalupe Amicone as the District’s Student Trustee – she will be succeeded next month by Olney Central College student Jorri VanDyke from Olney : in personnel matters – accepted the retirement resignation from OCC’s Allied Health Advisor Linda Horn effective July 1st, 2024 – accepted the resignation from TRIO Upward Bound Counselor Alexis McGrail – approved changes in employment status for Jackie Shamhart from Administrative Assistant to the Dean & President to Administrative Assistant to the President at LTC and for Heather Watts from Office Assistant to Administrative Assistant to the Dean at LTC – agreed to hire Abbygail Gangloff as College Admission Representative at LTC – and approved non-college employment for Joe Brown at KTDA Trucking in Mt. Erie & JB Express Transportation in Cisne : next regular meeting is Tuesday, April 16th, at OCC.
