(SPRINGFIELD) The annual Illinois Beef Expo will start tomorrow and run through Sunday at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, bringing with it a little different look in 2026. All exhibitors will now show in the newly renovated and climate-controlled Coliseum, which allows the event to shift back to a two-day show format. The Illinois Performance Tested Bull Sale, The Collection Genetics Sale, and The Multi-Breed Female Sale remain the highlights of the event alongside youth contests, including livestock judging, the beef skill-a-thon, photography contest, and back this year, the junior fitting contest.
