The statewide average temperature was 37.6 degrees last week, 1 degree below normal. Illinois’ precipitation averaged 0.56 inches last week, 0.20 inches below normal. As of Sunday, the state’s winter wheat crop condition was rated 7% poor to very poor, 21% fair, and 72% good to excellent.
