(NEWTON) Indiana Railroad is repairing several area railroad crossings this week. As the work continues today in the City of Newton, the replacement of railroad ties at various crossings will force the following roads to be closed at the crossings, including those along Jackson, Lafayette, Sycamore, and West End Streets. Also Indiana Railroad and IDOT has the railroad crossing in Willow Hill closed for repairs and resurfacing there as well. Folks need to use alternate routes of travel during this work in Newton and Willow Hill.
