(NEWTON) A reminder that the first Jasper County real estate tax bill due date is fast approaching, three weeks from today, on Friday, August 15th. As in past years, payments can be made online, by mail, by using the County Office Building drop box in Newton, or in person by stopping by the Treasurer’s Office in Newton open from 8:00 to 4:00 weekdays. The second installment due date, September 15th, is also the due date for Jasper County mobile home taxes as well. Call the Treasurer’s Office in Newton if any questions.
