The 2024 Region 24 Final Four Tournament ended on Sunday, with all games at Southwestern Illinois College, here’s Saturday’s results.
- #2 Lake Land beat #3 Lincoln Trail, 8-1
- #4 Wabash Valley beat #1 John A. Logan, 8-2
- John A. Logan then eliminated Lincoln Trail, 10-5
- Lake Land then beat Wabash Valley, 9-3
The Final Games were then played on Sunday
- John A. Logan then eliminated Wabash Valley, 12-3
- Lake Land won the tournament by beating John A. Logan, 6-3
The Lady Lakers now advance to D1 National Tournament in Oxford, Alabama.

(MT. CARMEL) In Junior College Baseball –
Wabash Valley College is hosting the Midwest District Tournament this week, it’s scheduled to begin with two games today, on this Wednesday.
- At 12 noon, John A. Logan (R24) plays McHenry County (R4/Crystal Lake, Illinois)
- At 3:00, the host Warriors (R24) will play Iowa Western (R11/Council Bluffs, Iowa)
The double elimination tournament continues with three games tomorrow
- Today’s losers play at 9:30 Thursday morning
- Today’s winners play at 12:3o tomorrow afternoon
- The tournament’s first elimination game is at 3:30 on Thursday
Then the final games will be Friday afternoon
- The first championship game at 12:00 noon
- A second game, if needed, at 3:00
The winner advances to the D1 National Tournament in Grand Junction, Colorado.
