Jasper County Junior Lady Eagles:
Jasper County split two matches with Effingham St. Anthony last night.
- Varsity: The 8th grade Junior Lady Eagles won in two games, 25-21, 25-7, with strong performances from Jossie Stanley, Layla Thomann, Scarlett Meinhart, and Paige Wagner.
- Junior Varsity: The 7th grade team lost in three games.
The Junior Lady Eagles are scheduled to host Effingham in Newton on Monday.
Olney St. Joe Lady Wildcats:
Olney St. Joe swept all three matches against Allendale/St. Mary’s.
- Varsity: The Lady Wildcats won in three sets, 25-19, 14-25, 25-19, with contributions from Leah Kuenstler, Nora McClain, Piper Mann, and Celie Peavler.
- Junior Varsity: St. Joe won the junior varsity match in two games.
- 5th Grade: The Lady Wildcats took the 5th grade match in two games.
The Lady Wildcats will be back at home tonight, hosting Clay City. The 5th grade match begins at 5:15 PM, followed by junior varsity and varsity.
