LAST WEEK’S RICHLAND COUNTY RAINFALL REPORT

(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report for the past week, with the reporting period ending at 8:00 yesterday morning, the county’s highest total of rain was three inches and seven tenths (3.70) in one of the Claremont Township locations, followed by three inches and three tenths (3.30) in German Township, three and a quarter inches (3.25) in Madison Township, three inches and one tenth (3.10) in Denver Township, and three inches even (3.00) in the other Claremont Township site. Then it was two inches and eight tenths (2.80) at the Farm Bureau Office in Olney, followed by Decker Township at two inches and seven tenths (2.70), Noble Township with two inches and four tenths (2.40), Bonpas Township at two inches and three tenths (2.30), Olney Township at one inch and six tenths (1.60), and the county’s lowest amount of rain over the past week was an inch and a half (1.50) in Preston Township. Here at our WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Richland County, at the south edge of Olney, we recorded nearly three inches of rain over the past week, at two inches and ninety-four hundredths (2.94).
