(OLNEY) The next Queen of Hearts drawing at the Olney VFW Post is this coming Sunday afternoon at 4:00, with tickets on sale all this week and always open to the public. This week’s jackpot will be over $12,380 to the winner, who must be present to win. The Queen of Hearts ticket sales support the VFW Post Home, along with local Veterans and their families.
(STE. MARIE) The Bend Community Club will host its annual Valentine Breakfast this coming Sunday morning with serving from 8:00 to 12:00 noon at St. Valentine Hall in “The Bend” rural Oblong. With tickets at the door, $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children ages 3 to 10, and $5.00 for an adult meal refill, the menu includes sausage from Hartrich Meats, plus scrambled eggs, gravy & biscuits, potato casserole, fruit salade, breakfast breads & sweets, and drinks. Everyone of all ages are invited and carry outs will be available. That’s this Sunday morning in “The Bend.”
(SAILOR SPRINGS) The Clay City/Sailor Springs American Legion Post 230 will have another first Saturday of the month breakfast this weekend with serving from 7:00 to 10:00, featuring pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and drinks, all for a donation at the door, plus carry outs are available. All ages are welcome to enjoy a great breakfast and support the local Veterans this coming Saturday morning, just off the Clay City / Dieterich Blacktop in Sailor Springs. The Legion’s next project is to remove and replace some bad concrete within the Legion building.
(CLAREMONT) The Claremont Community Center will host a fundraising breakfast this Saturday morning with serving from 6:00 to 11:00, or until sold out. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pastries, and drinks, all by donations accepted at the door.
(NEWTON) The next Queen of Hearts drawing at the Newton American Legion Post 20 is this Friday night at 6:30, with the jackpot now sitting at $82,750. This weekend’s Queen’s Menu includes free ham & beans until gone with serving to start at 5:00. That’s tonight, all at 108 East Jourdan Street in Newton.
