(OLNEY) The Annual Carle Hospice Festival of Trees fundraiser & bake sale is this weekend and will be held in the private dining rooms on the lower level of Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. The two day event will began throughout the day this coming Friday, December 1st, from 8:00 to 4:30, and then finish up Saturday morning, December 2nd, from 8:00 to 12:00 noon. The event will include a wide array of mini trees and gift baskets up for silent auction with the highest bids declared the winners at noon on Saturday. All proceeds go in support of Hospice and its mission to provide comfort care to patients in our region.
(OLNEY) The Olney VFW Auxiliary invites area youngsters to Breakfast with Santa this coming Saturday morning from 8:00 to 10:30. The cost is by a free will donation at the door and menu includes biscuits & gravy, cinnamon sticks, pancakes, juice, milk, and coffee. Kids can decorate Christmas cards for Veterans, enter into a door prize giveaway, take pictures with Santa and more, plus face painting and coloring. All are invited.
(OLNEY) It’s the Tidings, Tinsel, and Trees event this Friday night from 5:00 to 8:00 on the Richland County Courthouse front lawn. Select decorated trees will be available in a silent auction with proceeds to benefit the Shop With A Hometown Hero program. Plus there will be some refreshments, including hot chocolate, hot mulled cider, and plenty of sweet treats. All are invited to the Richland County Courthouse in Olney this Friday night.
