(SALEM) The investigation is continuing into a single vehicle traffic crash that occurred shortly before 8:00 yesterday morning in Marion County. Authorities report that 31 year old Nicholas Fletcher of Kinmundy was southbound on a county road near Kinmundy when a deer ran onto the road and was struck by Fletcher’s motorcycle. The Marion County man was airlifted by helicopter to a St. Louis Hospital for treatment. No tickets were issued.
