MONDAY RESULTS (4/6/26)

(NEWTON) in High School Baseball yesterday –  

Newton beat Altamont, 13-5  

as the Eagles outhit the host Indians, 10 to 8 

Gavin Meinhart was the winning pitcher, striking out 3 in his 4 innings of work  

Dominic Baltzell led Newton with a double, 2 singles, 3 RBI, and a run scored  

Maddox Horner tripled and singled with 2 runs scored  

Quincy Fulton had 2 hits and 2 walks with 3 stolen bases, an RBI, and 4 runs scored  

Drake Wolf had a hit and 4 RBI and Reed Tharp had an RBI hit 

the (10-1) Eagles are scheduled to play at Shelbyville today

(OLNEY) in High School Baseball yesterday –  

Olney beat visiting Oblong, 9-1 

Jack Thomann was the winning pitcher, striking out 10 in the complete 7 inning game 

Owen Cycholl led Olney at the plate with 2 hits and 2 RBI 

Cooper Hires also had 2 hits and Brody Redman had an RBI hit 

the (5-6) Tigers are scheduled to play at Teutopolis this afternoon
