(OLNEY/NEWTON) Our dry and warmer-than-normal weather will continue for another few days before our next chance of rain moves in for Friday morning as a elongated surface high pressure builds across the Mid-Mississippi River Valley by tonight. Our rain chance this week will come with some embedded shortwave weather disturbances by late Thursday night and into Friday. Then we’ll have some dry and cooler air in place for the first part of the weekend on Saturday with maybe more rain filtering in on Sunday.
