(OLNEY/NEWTON) With a heat dome sitting over the Midwest, we should expect plenty of heat and humidity in place for our downstate area weather all of this last full week of June. With high temperatures in the 90’s each day, our heat index values will be at or over 100 degrees each day. That’s why the National Weather Service has a Heat Advisory in effect for much of the week for all of our listening area. We could have some relief with a chance of rain and thunderstorms for the upcoming weekend. Stay tuned for weather updates.
