(OLNEY/NEWTON) After a mostly sunny and pleasant weekend, our downstate area weather will change a bit this week from last as a short-wave weather trough will track from the Upper Plains southeastward into Illinois today, bringing with it a chance of very spotty rain showers, which will mostly stay to our west. However, with plenty of clouds today, we will have a slight chance of a rain shower here-or-there today through tonight. Then we dry out for tomorrow and Wednesday before a better chance of rain moves in Thursday thru Friday and Friday night, followed by a another dry and sunny weekend.
