(CARMI) The Second Judicial Circuit has announced that the Circuit Judges have selected Mr. Denton Aud of White County to be the next Associate Judge. The vacant position is the result of the recent announcement by Associate Judge Mark Shaner of his intentions to retire effective December 15th, a week from this Friday. Attorney Denton Aud currently serves as the White County State’s Attorney. Illinois’ Second Judicial Circuit is comprised of 12 area counties, including Richland, Crawford, Lawrence, Edwards, Wabash, White, Wayne, Jefferson, Hamilton, Gallatin, Franklin, & Hardin.
