(OLNEY) The City of Olney’s Plan Commission met last night, and after a public hearing and some discussion, it approved the rezoning request for property at 4751 East Radio Tower Lane from a Light Industrial District (M-1) to a Single-Family Residence District (R-1). As a result, the Commission’s rezoning recommendation now moves on to the Olney City Council, which will consider the request at its next regular meeting, set for next Monday night, January 12th.
(OLNEY) Meanwhile, the Olney City Council will hold a special meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at Olney City Hall, starting at 4:00. Most of the meeting will be held in closed session to discuss personnel, specifically the employment status of the Olney City Manager. The meeting is open to the public, with the exception of the executive session.
