(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are teaming up this summer to conduct the 2024 Conservation Practice Adoption Motivations Survey (CPAMS) with some 43,000 forest and grazing landowners and managers taking part nationwide. While invitations to respond early online at agcounts.usda.gov are being mailed out this week, questionnaires with the option of responding by mail, fax, or online will be mailed July 8th. If no answer by the end of July, the NASS will reach out to schedule interviews. A data highlights publication is scheduled later this year in October with details to be published online at nass.usda.gov.
