(NEWTON) In Girls High School Basketball last night –
The Newton Lady Eagles split two games on the road in Albion
- Newton lost the varsity game to Edwards County, 60-51
Despite 15 points from Camryn Martin and 12 points from Lilly Kessler, Karasyn Martin added 11 points for Newton.
- The Lady Eagles won the junior varsity game, 32-21
While the Newton varsity is 3-4 on the year, the jv squad is now 4-0
The Lady Eagles are scheduled to host Robinson in LIC action Thursday night.
(OLNEY) In Girls High School Basketball last night –
There were three LIC Conference matchups
- Paris beat Marshall, 52-24
- Robinson beat Casey-Westfield, 52-34
- Mt. Carmel beat Lawrenceville, 58-23
- The Olney Lady Tigers were idle last night
The next round of conference games will be Thursday night.
