Newton Lady Eagles – Class 2A Regional Championship
The Newton Lady Eagles wrapped up their season Friday night at the Class 2A Regional in Palestine, falling to Teutopolis in the championship game, 56-64.
- Karasyn Martin led with an impressive 27 points
- Camryn Martin added 11 points
- Izzy Meinhart contributed 9 points
The Lady Eagles finish the season with a 21-8 record and were Co-Champions of the LIC regular season with a 6-1 mark.

- Class 3A – Mt. Vernon defeated Carbondale, 64-54
- Class 4A – Alton Senior topped Quincy Senior, 63-40
