Newton: The Lady Eagles remained undefeated with a 12-1 win over Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond in five innings. Both teams recorded seven hits.
- Winning pitcher: Amelia Collins, striking out seven in four innings.
- Top hitters: Allie Hermann, Camryn Martin, Allie Stanley, and Sally Mahaffey.
- Newton (4-0) is scheduled to play at Mattoon this afternoon.
Olney: One other LIC team competed yesterday.
- Robinson defeated Cumberland, 2-0.
