The Noble Village Board held its regular meeting this past Monday night. Key actions included:
- Approval of all bills as presented.
- Approval to replace the five-year-old Village Hall computers with two new PCs at a cost of $850 each.
- Agreement to upgrade the Village’s computer system from Locis 7 to Locis 8.
- No action was taken regarding the Engineer’s cost estimate of $15,000 to $20,000 to address drainage issues along East Cherry Street.
- No decision was made on the $70,000 cost estimate to improve drainage at the east end of the Noble Cemetery.
- An update was provided on the Village’s Sewer Lagoon project and associated funding grant.
In other news:
- The Village is asking residents to remove all ground decorations from the Noble Cemetery by March 31st.
- Please note, the Village Hall will be closed on Monday, February 17th, in observance of President’s Day 2025.
- The next regular Village Board meeting is scheduled for February 24th.
