(OLNEY) The City of Olney has announced that Republic Services will be collecting garbage on its regular pickup schedule this week, including tomorrow, on Thursday morning. For everyone’s safety, residents who are able should place their trash totes at the curb as usual as collection crews will not be retrieving totes from anywhere else, besides homes or driveways. Each resident should use their own discretion when determining whether conditions are safe to move a tote to the curb. If a trash tote cannot be safely placed at the curb, it may be necessary to wait until the next scheduled trash pickup. Please note that Republic Services is unable to offer service credits or adjustments if totes are not at the curb. If able, residents are encouraged to check on their neighbors who may need assistance in getting their tote to the curb as well.
