(SPRINGFIELD) The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has announced the establishment of a national January 15th, 2026, batching deadline for the first funding round of key conservation programs. The national batching date, two weeks from tomorrow, ensures farmers have a clear and consistent timeline for participating in the various programs, including EQIP, CSP, ACEP, and Agricultural Management Assistance. While the NRCS has continuous sign-up for its programs, the recent government shutdown has forced the agency to implement an initial national batching period to make sure producers have access to funding and support.
