In last night’s Men’s Junior College Basketball action, a total of 231 points were scored in “The Dungeon.” Unfortunately for the OCC Blue Knights, they were on the losing end of the contest as they were outscored by the visiting Lake Land College Lakers, 125 to 106.
The Blue Knights were led by Jahlil Bethea, who scored 31 points, while Kasym Nash contributed 21 points. Logan Webb posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Ja’Vaughn Jones added 14 points. Chris Vargas also scored 11 points for the Blue Knights.
With the loss, the Blue Knights’ record falls to 2-11. They are scheduled to host Southwestern Illinois this Saturday at 3:00 PM.
In other GRAC/District action, three games that were originally scheduled for last night have been moved to tonight:
- Kaskaskia at John A. Logan
- Vincennes at Southwestern Illinois
- Wabash Valley at Rend Lake
