(OLNEY) Boys High School Wrestling Recap
At the EI Tournament held last Saturday at Lawrenceville High School, Olney finished in 4th place out of a competitive field of teams.
The Tigers had seven wrestlers earn top-six finishes, including two champions:
- Carson Bissey took 1st place in the 157-pound weight class
- Zander Schrader claimed 1st place in the 215-pound weight class
Other top finishers for Olney included:
- Kaeden Davis – 2nd place at 126 pounds
- Levi Ochs – 3rd place at 132 pounds
- Hayden Hazel – 4th place at 106 pounds
- Logan McDonald – 6th place at 175 pounds
- Samuel Dial – 6th place at 138 pounds
The Tigers now prepare for the Class 1A Regional this Saturday at Lawrenceville High School, where they will compete alongside 10 other teams.

On Sunday, Olney hosted the O-Town Throwdown Tournament and finished in 6th place.
The Cubs had six wrestlers take home first-place finishes in their respective divisions:
NOVICE DIVISION:
- Heston Sharp
- Makai Steele
- Ray Zuber
INTERMEDIATE DIVISION:
- Isaac Stremme
BANTAM DIVISION:
- Kamden Hall
- Roman Oliver
The Cubs will return to action this weekend in St. Charles, Illinois.
