(OLNEY) The investigation is continuing into last week’s arrest of an Olney couple, both charged with possession of methamphetamine and for endangering the life or health of a child. It was last Thursday morning, shortly after 8:00, that the Olney Police Department received a complaint related to a 5 year old student who was found to have cannabis & other drug items in a backpack. As a result, a search warrant for the parent’s residence was conducted later the same day, resulting in the arrest of both 44 year old Jason L. Frederick and 43 year old Kristin N. Boland. Both are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Assisting the Olney Police Department in the investigation is the Richland County Sheriff’s Office and the Richland County State Attorney’s Office.
