(OLNEY) Congratulations to the Olney FFA with another winning team. Competing is the Section 23 Conduct of Chapter Meetings Leadership Development Events (LDE) two weeks ago at Richland County High School in Olney. Similar to Parliamentary Procedure events, the competition uses official FFA opening and closing ceremonies whereas the Parli Pro LDE does not. Olney’s seven member team consisted of Benni Stout, Addison Mclaughlin, Katelyn Bookhout, Levi Hefferman, Brooke Weidner, Bailey Graves, & Brody Peavler. While Benni Stout placed 1st as chairman, here’s how the floor members placed individually in the contest : Brooke Weidner – 1st : Katelyn Bookhout – 2nd : Bailey Graves – 4th : Brody Peavler – 5th : Addison Mclaughlin – 6th : and Levi Hefferman – 10th. The first place team from the Olney FFA now advances to the downstate District 5 competition on March 20th at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Congrats and best of luck next Thursday.
