the Little Illini Conference Meets were held up in Terre Haute, Indiana
BOYS
Olney claimed the conference crown by beating second place Paris, 31 to 41
Newton was third with 80 points, followed by Robinson at 101
then Lawrenceville (116), Casey-Westfield (156), and Mt. Carmel (180)
there were 51 runners on the 3 mile course
the top ten runners were noted with All Conference honors
Olney’s Quaid Berger and Judah Dicks were 1st and 2nd
Paris’ Harrison Hays was 3rd, followed by Olney’s Tristin Butler in 4th place
then Paris’ Nathan Fonner and Lawrenceville’s Brayden Morrison
Newton’s Hayden Borgic was 7th, followed by Paris’ Grayson Craffets
Marshall’s Steven Hendrixson & Robinson’s Jason Tingley rounded out the top ten
Olney’s Landon Livingston & Newton’s Tanner Whitaker were 11th and 12th respectively
the other Olney runners included
Austin Kuenstler (16th), Nathaniel Zwilling (22nd), and Oliver Fehrenbacher (42nd)
the other Newton runners were
Holden Barthelmy (20th), Johnnie Brant (23rd), Alec Bower (25th),
Wade Ochs (31st), and Kendall Probst (36th)
GIRLS
Marshall is the conference champs, beating second place Olney, 29 to 47
Newton was third with 54 points, followed by Casey-Westfield (110) & Robinson (111)
there were 42 total runners on the 3 mile course
the top ten runners received All Conference honors
Marshall’s Molly Farrell, Madeline Fox, and Grace Thompson were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Bella Stevens led Olney in 4th place, followed by Newton’s Layna Marshall (5th)
Olney’s Josie Ginder was 6th and Newton’s Heather Bergbower was 7th
then Casey-Westfield’s Kayla Clark and Paris’ Hellie Barrett
Newton’s Avery Geier was 10th
the other Olney runners included
Briley Kocher (11th), Mallory Kocher (14th), Karlee Piercefield (15th),
Kyleigh Cazel (23rd), Lily Stevens (26th), and Addison McLaughlin (39th)
